About Alice Campbell Staffing 

Alice Campbell Staffing, Inc. (ACS) was founded in August 1981 by long-time Springfield  resident Alice Campbell to serve the staffing needs of local businesses and organizations.

Family owned and locally operated   

ACS continues today as a family owned and locally operated firm, which gives us flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our clients. As a female-owned business, ACS is certified by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services in the Business Enterprise Program (BEP). Benefits to clients and temporary staffers include:

  • Decisions are made locally so clients and employees can expect immediate responses to their questions or concerns

  • Invoices and payroll checks are processed locally giving us the flexibility to handle extenuating circumstances.

  • Checks are drawn on local banks and payroll is done weekly at our office. Paychecks can  be picked up, mailed or deposited directly. Paychecks for large groups can be delivered to the work site.

  • Much of the income earned by the ACS and its staff stay in the community and help stimulate the local economy.

Alice Campbell Staffing is a member of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

In-house staff are members of the Central Illinois Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management, Rotary International and Illinois Women in Leadership.

 

ACS is the only company in downstate Illinois chosen to be a member of The Independent Professional Society of Staffing Services (TIPSS). We subscribe to and adhere to the organizations Code of Ethics and to their high standards of operation. This group of staffing professionals meets twice a year to learn about and discuss the latest trends in the industry. ACS has twice received the TIPSS  Quality of Service award.
