Meet Our Staff


The in-house staff at Alice Campbell Staffing (ACS) pride themselves on meeting clients' needs with prompt, efficient and professional service. They are experienced in all facets of temporary staffing and use a team approach to serving clients. ACS uses state-of-the-art software, which enables us to coordinate all aspects of our services with client and employee information at the fingertips of everyone in the office. All payroll and related functions are performed in-house.

Alice Campbell

Alice founded the firm in 1981 and continues to play an active role in all aspects of the business. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and extraordinary business acumen.

Prior to starting ACS, Alice worked in various office positions and was a substitute teacher for the Springfield school district.

Alice is a former member of Rotary International. She also co-founded the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (now Central Illinois Women Entrepreneurs).

Denise Williams
Director of Client Services 

Denise fills the important role of matching the right job candidates with clients' staffing needs. She works closely with clients to obtain a detailed job description. She also interviews job applicants and assesses their experience, skills and client compatibility.


Denise has many years of experience in the staffing industry. She has been a valued staff member at ACS for more than 15 years. She is a graduate of University of Illinois-Springfield with a degree in Sociology.

Jean Campbell
Business Manager

Jean oversees day-to-day operations at ACS. She earned a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Northern Illinois University.  She joined ACS in 2008 after working in community relations at St. John's Hospital for 16 years.

Jean is a member (and past board member) of Illinois Women in Leadership and Local First Springfield.  She also is a member of Central 

Illinois Women Entrepreneurs and the Central Illinois Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers, which named Jean the HR Professional of the Year in 2014.

Hannah Ziogas
Recruitment Coordinator

Hannah manages the front office at ACS and is the first point of contact for applicants, clients and visitors. She administers skills testing and completes onboarding paperwork for new employees. She processes payroll weekly, schedules employees and assists with recruiting, including attending job fairs.


Hannah is a graduate of Benedictine University at Springfield with a bachelor's in Business Administration.

Craig Campbell
VP Finance

Craig joined ACS in 1992 after working as an investment banker in Springfield, Chicago and St. Louis. He is a graduate of Arizona State University. Craig oversees the financial aspects of ACS. His volunteer service includes serving on the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brother, Big Sister. He also has been an active member of Rotary International.
